M-Audio Keystation 88 Pro Transport Controls?
I just got one of these guys - mostly because I've got some live work and wanted to be able to quickly split the keyboard for different configurations. Upon closer examination, I find it has a set of transport buttons by the mod wheels, a set of 8 sliders, and a whole bunch of vpots. So I'm wonderin...

Re: Is it just me.....
I still don't get it. Any pointers to understand what it's all about? I'm about two weeks ahead of you on the learning curve. My last DAW was Studio Vision - which I found much more intuitive than DP. I totally get where you are coming from. But if you keep banging your head against it then it begi...

While the MCU isn't 100% integrated with DP it does what I really need it to do. What it does do I think it does well. That's good to hear. Looking at the MCU Pro - the only difference I can see is new color scheme, slightly different enclosure, new improved jog wheel. Nothing else seems improved. ...

Unisyn runs on Intel Macs under OS 10.4.9 tblanchard has contacted me directly for help and I'm confident we'll get him running. And you did! Thanks so much! Seems good now. Now if there were just a nifty importer/translator to take all my Juno-106 patches and convert them to polysynth equivalents,...

I don't have an Intel Mac and have no plans of buying one any time soon. At this point, due to Leopard slipping, probably March 2008 agt the earliest. I'm more likely to buy a Muse Receptor instead. As one who does software development for a day gig, the performance difference of a G5 vs a Core Duo...

What version of Mac OS X are you running? Remember that there have been innumerous problems with 10.4.9. Your problem may not be related to how well Unisyn runs on an Intel Mac. 10.4.9 but with the manual install as recommended by apple and everyone else who makes music stuff. Still crashes. :-( Ca...

Unisyn UB
Crashes on launch for me. This is extra annoying because I fell for the "Add Unisyn to your DP 5 upgrade order" only to find that it doesn't work. Given that I upgraded DP specifically to get intel support, this is a bit galling.magicd wrote:Unisyn runs well on the Intel Mac.

Re: Mach V ver.2 *review*!!
Elec. Musician has a review of a beta copy of M5 v.2 in it's June '07 edition Well I hope it ships soon. I've been upgrading my stuff lately, buying sound modules (Korg Digital Legacy is a keeper) and I plunked down for MachFive and Ethno. Turns out M5 doesn't support intel macs (who doesn't have a...
