Looks more compact, GUI-wise, which I like. The Transport, especially. I like the tabbed interface, too.
Keep the reports coming! I haven't even gotten my delivery notification yet!

A small observation: They cleaned up the font. I can actually read it better. Course moving it off the grey background helps too. But it is crisper.

It'll make a difference around the 16th hour to have that extra legibility.
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.

But is it groovy? I need it to be groovy.

So, I'm out at the mailbox checking the mail when the UPS driver pulls up and says he has a package for me. My little heart starts to go pitter-patter. Unfortunately, it was a wall hanging for our entryway. :(
I have my confirmation. Unfortunately I live on the coast opposite from MOTU headquarters, so the carrier pigeon they use to ship isn't scheduled to arrive here until the 14th of July.

That's good to know. I haven't gotten a confirmation yet and will be performing out of town this weekend, so no distractions from my show... RATS!

It's probably just me but i liked the old mute, record, solo scheme better.
It looks confusing/bloated to me.
I have the same problem with the new Quemix FX vs the old one.

I'm curious about the new compressor. Anyone who can compare it to UAD-1?

And I love the look of the new interface... completely neutral on the m/s/r redesign though (old one was fine, this is fine too)

Uh oh...I think it has bugs. I hit play and nothing happens. Loaded very quickly though!

Uh...quick question.

Looking at the mixer window...I have to ask, what happened to the sends area? I see the inserts, and then solo etc...no sends!

Also, there's no window specific menus anymore? Is everything in the standard finder menus now? That'll take some getting used to, if so.

I'm also not really feeling the new color scheme. Yes, the graphics are "prettier", but it's too bright and it'll get fatiguing after looking at it for a while. The darker gray was much easier to look at.

I think I know what the problem is. The old mixer had clearly divided vertical lines along every channel -- it just made it easier to digest, visually. Here, there's nothing clearly dividing each channel, everything's just smashed together. The UI designers should have continued the dividing lines for the insert section all the way down the channel.
