6 is here !

Post by sonus »

I have just received the DP6 package (Athens-Greece)!

It's all BLACK ... The manual (1076 pages), the installer and extras disk are all black !!!
I don't know what this means but I like it as it is.
Sorry I can't say more cause I have to leave.
I'm on my way to the studio so I'll be back here when the installation has been completed...
Wish me good luck .

cheers

Actually no, there you see the UVI player in action. No DP 6 here - move along, move along, go back to your homes.

But there's a glimpse of DP6, they drag loops from the UVI WorkStation into DP6...

Hardly what I would call DP in action... basically a waste of time for the DP guys. Kind of like going to the movies and sitting behind a giant. Leaving the theater (after seeing a corner of the screen) and then saying "man you need to go see this flick!"

Man, are you guys really that starved to see DP 6???

Here's a You Tube video that shows UVI workstation files being dragged into the NEW DP6 interface.
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.

THAT's hard to argue with ;-)
But if they bundle UVI WorkStation with DP6 it might be of considerable intrest to alot of people anyway. I own MachFive so it's not that a big deal to me. But if the UVI WorkStation is more processor friendly I might use that instead. And for people who only use the included VI's in DP5 it looks like a big improvement...
