I've got an 828II, and I've just built an Athlon 64 based DAW, and am upgrading to Sonar 5 - a 64 bit app. I'm currently running Win Pro (32), and am considering moving up to Win 64.
Anyone know if I can get there from here?
Thanks!
Mark

Not until MOTU comes out with 64 bit drivers. You can still run Sonar at 64 bits within 32 bit Windows on your AMD (aren't those folks at Cakewalk clever?). That's what I'm doing.
I installed XP64 (the trial version) on a second partition about a month ago just for grins, and nothing worked (Apogee, MOTU 896HD). So, save yourself the trouble until MOTU comes out with new drivers.

win 64bit AMD etc
Sonar 5 will run install in 32 bit or 64bit depending on whether you have a 32 or 64bit OS. BOTH versions have the double precision 64bit mix buss. This is independent of whether you are using a 32 or 64 bit os. It is just is a higher resolution buss.
