In case you're having trouble with Sonarworks VoiceID...

Post by David Polich »

To get Sonarworks VoiceID to run in DP, open the drop-down menu in the plugin's upper right hand corner and select "Run open instances of the plugin in real-time".

I purchased VoiceID yesterday 'cuz the Perpetual version (which is the one you want) is on sale. I installed it, authorized it, then spent all day yesterday tearing my hair out because the plugin wasn't capturing audio played into it.

A couple of other helpful hints - first, process your vocal through Melodyne or whatever you use to correct the pitch and timing. VoiceID does not do pitch correction. Bus the pitch-corrected track to a NEW audio track and record it. Place Voice ID on THAT newly recorded track, then process that track with VoiceID.

Also, experiment with the VoiceID voice models to find the best one for your track. Not all of them work equally well. The result will always sound like a cross between your voice and the voice model, but certain voice models will work better than others.
