Help! DP Hanging on start up while scanning

Any suggestions please..

I had my DP 11.33 working… all plugins loaded. Yay!

I was going to record a guitar track just to test it out.
I opened a Slate plugin.. DP threw an error

I tried restarting several times..each time now it gets hung scanning

I rebooted with extensions off. No luck. DP would not open

I could not even get to a point where DP opened and I could start the divide and conquer method with my plugins

Soo…
I decided to uninstall and do a clean new install
I put DP in the trash and even went to the finder/DP library application support and trashed the contents

I downloaded the DP installer again and installed

It is still hanging with spinning beach ball on start up

Really puzzled here

Is DP the problem or is the problem with my OS not letting DP open?

Did I not do the uninstall correctly?

If so, how can I do a complete uninstallation

Open the Activity Monitor. Does anything turn red when you start? If so, call Apple and have them screen share to find the conflict. If on Sonoma, you want to be running macOS 14.7.3.

What was the error?

Have you granted access to the microphone?

Are there any messages in System Settings/Privacy and Security?

Have MOTU Support share a screen with you and see if they can find the problem.

Apple could not verify that the plugin is free of malware that may harm your computer or compromise you privacy

But DP passed the plugin?

Have you granted access to the microphone?

Yes there was. I had to allow it anyway
And when I tried to open it, I got the same message about not being able to verify it was free of malware but was prompted to input my password in order to open it
It did open though!

So… how do I get the “unable to verify software is free of malware” message so I don’t have to keep outting my password in?

Once I go to privacy and security and allow the plugin, try to open it, get the same message but now able to allow it, when I close the plugin, I don’t have to allow anything. It opens like it was supposed
Apparently it is just the Slate plugs ( at least the ones I have tried so far). Going to check the other ones
Is this a slate digital problem? Do you think they can offer advice?

And I haven’t updated my signature
I have uodate to latest version if Sequioa OS 15.3

Update… for no known reason, it finally opened after spinning forever

It has to do with my Slate plugins
I am getting error messages saying that it can’t be opened due to apple not being to verify that the software is free of malware

I have to go to privacy and security to allow
Then still have to give permission with my password
The next time I open the plug it is ok

I’m going to shut down DP and see if it opens or hangs up again

Weird.. it was just the SLATE virtual mix rack, virtual console, virtual channel, virtual mix buss

Everything else opened up normally?

And I quit DP and it reopened ok

I guess it corrupted and the fresh install helped?
