"A" keyboard shortcut is not working in DP - RESOLVED

Something is going on where if I'm in the MIDI Editor for example and I double tap "P" for pencil... I cannot return to the pointer tool by double-tapping "A". I refuses to return with the hotkey. I've checked the Commands window and "A" is assigned to the Pointer tool as it should be. I'm at a loss. I think I fixed this once before, but got no clue right now.

Okay... I just solved my problem when I tried to re-assigned the "A" key in the Commands window.

Weird... I don't know if this happened with an earlier version of DP, but I think at some point DP automatically assigned "A" as a shortcut to change to the Chunk I was working in. Deleting the hotkey from the Chunk made "A" work again for recalling the Pointer tool.

I wonder if MOTU developers have to weigh changing keyboard shortcuts or settings when they release an update.

Recently, some setting changed-- but it is possible (or even likely) I changed it myself without realizing what I was doing.

Some time ago, there was a message during a DP update that said the default shortcuts had changed and you had to option of merging, replacing etc. Haven’t seen that recently, but there must be some updates happening if there are any new or revised features.
