Show only is not available to click on

Show only is not available to click on

In MIDI editor, if I don't want to see the pitch bend, I just want the lower half to show the modulation, velocity, etc.. Most of the time I can click on the "Show Only" button so it shows the data from 0 to 127 (if I don't click on that it will from -80 to 127 like pitch bend) . But sometimes the Show only button is unavailable for me to click.. what is causing the show only button unavailable to click on?

Something has to be selected, otherwise it knows not what to "only" display....

Yes that's right. What is that icon with a mouse and a cross to the right of Show Only?

I read the manual , the UI is not the same here!
