similar sound with "Calliope"

Hi there.

I am doing a project that needs circus music(parade -like) and want to find a similar sound with calliope (steam piano).
i have plugsounddpro and kontakt 3
any ideas of an intrument similar to calliope?

Hmm, maybe try a Mellotron flute patch? Not sure you could get the right attack envelope to match a calliope though.

Not as closely related by any means, but sometimes a harmonium can be coaxed into those sorts of sounds (but you have to play it a certain way to achieve that).

Plugsound Pro - General MIDI - 10-PIPE - 77-Blown Bottle.

That's basically a calliope.

I also found another one from plugsound pro that i think it is even closer to calliope...
check this:
01- keyboards- 06 electric organs- 03-cheap organs- Flufisa 1

I think it is very similar or at least it matches circus parade music...

Flufisa 1 doesn't sound too much like a calliope to me, but it can certainly work for a circus as well. You might also add a bit of glock on top to make it sparkle (is appropriate). Don't forget the tuba(s), slide whistles, and popping balloons.
