Any way to create a feedback loop in 5.13?

Post by Tripi »

Does anyone know how to create a feedback loop on purpose in DP 5.13? I'm trying to do it all internally (ie... no mic or cables). It was so easy in DP 4, but I can't find a way to do this in 5.13 without getting the feedback (duh) loop error. ;)

thanx!

Put your guitar closer to the computer monitor. Apologies. :D

DP is pretty picky now about the internal feedback loop. The program even picks up potential loops in from aux sends.

Tis the truth and it will disable outputs if it detects them.

One way would be to put the delay plugin on the track and crank the repeats but be warned there is a panic button on it for a reason.

I just never understood why they took it away in DP5 (feedback loops). Not that I always need to make feedback, but sometimes I really do know what routing is best for a particular application..... and I want to do it. It only actually made a feedback loop if the audio input monitor was activated, or the track was in record mode. Lots of ways to prevent having actual feedback start. Guess i'm out of luck......... unless........ DP7 goes back to looking just like DP5.13. Sure.
