I have an un-used G4 and I am interested in locking it up to my G5 2.5 so as to separate processor tasks. Anyone have experience with this new program I am hearing about, MIDI over LAN CP?

Keep us posted on your progress, as you know I posted a similar thread. I was going for a G5 DP2.5, but have changed plans. Want to now get fast PC instead, network with my G4 (audio/MIDI), with PC running VI's & Giga. More bang for the buck I think. I plan to do MIDI/LAN connection.
iMac 27" Retna 4GHz, Apollo 8 w/Satellite, NI K-88 controller, plus a ton of VI's.

It works great for me with my PROTOOLS MIX 6.4 on my G4 and whatever on my PC but somehow my DP 4.52 cannot see the MIDI over LAN ports. It can see only MIDI INs in DP MIDI monitor window but no Ins, Outs anywhere else.
I also noticed that some recent RTAS plugins (elementalaudio) work well under PT DAE but not DP DAE...
