DP Performance on Macbook? (not Macbook Pro)

Post by mkovner »

Hi-
I've been thinking about purchasing a Macbook to run DP. Any thoughts from users who've tried would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I was using the MacBook with DP and traveler for a while. It works great as long as your MB does not suffer from the dreaded Random Shut down that has affected soooo many MB out there....i went through 8 MB before i gave up.
Apparentley the problem has been solved. I now have the new MBP and it works fine.

No problems here; MB, DP, Traveler.

There has been a very long thread here about MacBook and DP 5.1 crashing
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... ng+macbook

I finaly solved this (partialy) with the bundle rebuilding tip

My advice :
Wait for the next DP 5.11 update (coming very soon now, I guess), and read the reports in this forum.

MacBook seems very powerfull for it's price indeed.
