I have heard a lot of problems regarding Sonar and PC based workstations using MSI as a plug-in. Some people think it is the ilok, others think Motu didn't spend enough time checking for MSI bugs working within PC operating systems. My question is, has anyone installed the MSI software without any problems using Sonar and Windows? Also, I ordered the software and I am about to send it back once it reaches my home door.
System Specs.

Received MSI Software
I contacted the music store I purchased MSI and they were positve I wouldn't have any problem running MSI on a PC using Sonar. I have done a lot of bussiness with them over the years so I decided to install the software. It took me approx. 40 minutes and I had it up and running without a problem. Although, I decided to use the VST plug-in as an option within Sonar instead of DXI.
That would be why you had no problems.I decided to use the VST plug-in as an option within Sonar instead of DXI.
It seems like most aren't able to use DXi, like me. So I use VST. What I want to know is how anyone is able to get this thing to sound right at any sample rate besides 96khz? This is my SECOND PC where I am only able to run MSI acceptably as VST at 96khz.
Re: MSI - SONAR/WINDOWS XP PRO.
This is sort of related. Am running vista 64 bit, and sonar 6.2. With SI, I can load up one instrument and play it, but for the life of me, can not load up more than one and get it to play. Each track is set to the correct MIDI track in SI, but only MIDI 1 works.. any ideas?
