hi peeps
wonder if anyone can help me with this?
i am using a motu 828 with a new Carillon AC-1 PC, WinXP, service pack 2. The 828 ROM is v1.02 and hardware v4. the MOTU driver is 3.6.6.0.
When the driver loads I get flashes on all analogue input meters, on seemingly random input numbers, about 10 times a second. nothing is connected to them.
i am running at 44.1k, and the clock source is set to internal. No audio software is running.
all analogue outputs make a clicking noise, which occurs at the same time as the flashes at the inputs.
when i run some audio through it, the outputs cut out at the same time as the flashes on the input meters. if i look at an output meter on the software (windows media player at the moment), it stops when the audio cuts out, indicating that this is some kind of driver problem rather than the audio being disconnected.
i think i might need an older driver? any suggestions?
thanks
owen
