Route audio to Arturia Pigments? - RESOLVED
I'm attempting to route audio into Pigments and I can't seem to figure it out. Within Pigments I've gotten to the audio in section, but I'm lost there. Other plugins have a side chain drop down box. Not Pigments. The manual says route the audio from another track to the plugins input. I have no idea where that input is. MX4, for instance, has a drop down to select a bus to input external audio from.
Has anybody here gotten it to work?

Thanks cuttime. That's where I thought it might be. The side chain dropdown shows up in many other plugs, but not Pigments for me.
Odd.

Are you using the AU version? That pulldown is not visible for me there, either. Try using the VST3 version.

Curious. I tend to stick to AU versions as I've heard they are more stable. Myth? My Fabfilter AUs as well as other dynamics plugs have side chain inputs in the AU version. Is the lack of side chain input in the AU version of Pigments an Arturia thing? Or a DP thing?

I can't answer your question, but I've always used AUs, too. Over the years I've added some VST3s with no problems. There are even some added functions like MIDI in and out of plugs.DAWdler wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 12:41 pm Curious. I tend to stick to AU versions as I've heard they are more stable. Myth?
