New 16A - how does the reverb sound?

Post by MartinBaird »

Having a couple of 828es boxes, I can say with certainty that the reverb built into the internal mixer leaves a LOT to be desired. Can anyone comment on the quality of the reverb in the new 16A? Also, what are the parameters that can be edited?
Thanks Much,
Martin

Watching the Sweetwater video on the 16A I see that the reverb has edit controls for size, pre-delay, damping, decay, and width. I'm still interested to hear any comments about the sound quality.

Thanks Much,

Martin

That's why I hang a Lexicon box off my 828es SPDIF I/O.

Maybe MOTU beefed up the 'verb in the new interfaces...

I do the same thing. The built in reverb in the 828es is horrendous.
