Random audio static on recorded tracks

Hey all, I know this is a weird one, but I’ve been dealing with this for the past few months. It’s hit and miss, but often when I’m tracking bass through my NEVE DI a random static spike will happen and print on the track. I’ll include a sample of it, hopefully. It’s also happened a few times tracking drums. Then it’s on 5 tracks…I’m at my wits end. I’ve reinstalled drivers for the 828, repaired permissions, reinstalled DP. I’ve replaced my two older power conditioners with Radial Power 1's. I’m at the point where I want to take apart the whole studio and go through every cable,etc. and of course I’m in the middle of a project. Any thoughts would be ssoooo appreciated! Thank you!

Have you tried recording to your internal SSD? Might be worth a try.

On my rig, I use external for VI data; I record to my Mac's internal SSD.

I’ve thought of that HC. Might be worth a try. I have been recording to an external drive even with my retired MacPro for years without these kind of static sounds. Thanks for input!
