Clips Window

I've been using DP for quite a few decades now and really love the clips window. I have been using it live with a Roland bass synth to play solo and duos for the moment. The sequencer is amazing to play live and construct intricate parts that I cue with an APC40, but I really just have one major complaint. I can choose from 2 measures up until 32 but not 12? This really hinders my arrangement capabilities. For instance, you can't t create a 12 bar blues and there would be so many more options with adding a 12 measure feature.

On the left in the clips window you select from 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 measures. This is how the sequence repeats after the set amount of measures. If there was a 12 measures option between 16 & 32, it would be a game changer.

It would be a numerical order changer, too!
I'd put it between 8 & 16 if it were me.

But actually, why not have all measure lengths available?

OK OK I get it, you meant what in Ableton Lives terms are "launch quantization" settings. Yeah that would be useful for sure, I also wish for a No Quantization setting. This way the Clips window becomes a one shot sample firing tool. Perfect for foley for stage plays etc.

I'm playing live audio, the only MIDI is what goes to the Roland bass synth from the bass for sounds, so I have no problems with quantising. As long as the 1st & last beats of the measure are
in time, the sequence can really swing. I'm playing funk, jazz & groove music so the feel of the groove is important & 12 measure sequences would make my life so much easier.
