Guitar Headphone Amp with Passthrough

Post by bkshepard »

I'm playing in a duo with an electric guitarist and I sometimes wish I had an in-ear monitor for the guitar due to the noise and/or boominess in the room in which we are playing. Is there any sort of device that does Guitar passthrough that also has a headphone output? I don't need effects since it would be placed after his pedal board, but I'm fine if they are part of the device.

I know I can cobble it together with DIs and Headphone amps, but I'm hoping there's something out there that's small and purpose-built for such a task. Thanks!

Any small mixer could work. I use a tiny Mackie as my live headphone amp.

Yeah, I’m already doing it that way. I was hoping there might be something small like those little guitar headphone practice devices that would also do a passthrough. Thanks.
