Can' t enable Pad button on motu ultralite mk5

So basically i have my mic connected to motu ultralite mk5 input 1 and guitar connected to input 2. I am able to enable pad option for input 1 where my mic is connected, but i can't enable pad option for input 2 where my guitar is connected, if i unplug the guitar from the input 2 the pad works. I use NUX B-5RC Guitar Wireless System to connect guitar to input 2.

The Pad button can only be engaged on the Mic (XLR) input of the ComboJack. If going through the TRS, you have to use the Precision Digital Gain knob to select Input levels. I don’t know how to copy the text from a pdf yet on my new iPad but you will find this on page 9 of the manual, paragraph 3.
