Completely uninstall MOTU driver and software on OSX

Hi all,

for several reasons I'm getting rid of my 896mk3 and want to completely uninstall everything related to the device.
Unfortunately there is no uninstall routine implemented in the MOTU audio driver (UB 89555)
The FAQ page is not helping either.
How do go about removing all the files (and cuemix)?

Nope. MOTU has not released an uninstaller since DP 7.24.

The only quick solution I know is to install FindAnyFile and search for MOTU. Highlight and move to Trash. Empty the Trash and a minute or two later, it will be removed from the list. Many folders will contain multiple files that will be gone after the folder is removed.

If deleting individually, in addition, you should go to Users/(user name)/Library/Preferences and delete every file that begins with com.motu. There are twenty in my Mac but I have installed many MOTU products.

I use appcleaner:

It doesn't find 100% of the files 100% of the time, but most of the time it gets most of the files. It usually won't find files that the developer doesn't want you to find (license authorizations, etc.).

I just did a full uninstall reinstall of all things MOTU. Lots of hunting in both the main and user libraries. Lots of orphaned items from various versions, the list on that MOTU page is wildly outdated and incorrect. Install points shift with every version, even within DP11.
