I just got it, so we'll see.. it appears to operate in stand-alone mode only. Too bad, I thought it would be a plug-in for DP. Oh well, if it works, it will still be worth the 20 bucks.

Please let us know, reading some interweb comments it does seem to be not a transparent in it's use as they would like you to think.

I use it, and it works great. I use it routinely to replace badly tracked drums. Thumbs up!

+1

It's the most accurate solution for replacing drum tracks that I've found. I think it's simple to use... you just import your raw tracks into Drumtracker, let DT analyze the files and perfect any missed timings by adding or dragging the lines.

Slate's Trigger is very close though (and is realtime), however, I like that you can edit the timing of the MIDI notes in Drumtracker. I find that I do very little editing of the timing because of this.

The workflow is more akin to Melodyne in that you have to view Drumtracker as an external editor.

I find it to be great. I did have a small issue with the mapping, but it seemed to do what it promised very nicley. I mean, for $20??? How could you go wrong.

i have to try mapping it to my EZ Drummer. May work better that way.

I bought it. Haven't used it at all, and it largely duplicates functionality that I already have in Logic, but I thought it might do it better. For $20, I'm willing to find out.

It's a good looking bit of software, I will say that for it.
