DP 5.13 Metronome bpm menu change?
Why did DP take away the option for changing the Tempo's bpm in the main consolidated window. Now you HAVE to go into the tempo settings to change the met. Am I missing something?

Yes, you're missing the Tempo panel. Click out the panel drawers from the little triangle at the top-right of the Control Panel. One of them has the Tempo in it.
Or, you can change the tempo the fast way, when in Tempo Slider Mode. Just tap the \ key (backslash, above the Return Key). Tap \ \ \ \ in the tempo that you want, then hit return. You may nail the tempo by the 2nd tap. Or it may take 3 or 4 to get it right. If you know the tempo by number of BPM, then watch the number in the Tempo field of the Control Panel while you are tapping.
