Any luck with DP4 + TDM

I had a great sounding mixerless system going with a couple of digi 192s and an Pro Tools HD Accel system mixing and handling audio with my DP4 as a front end. But I have to force quit after every cue. And doing any menial task such as deleting audio tracks or adding a plug in takes forever. I just couldn't stay awake. Is anyone having success with this type of set-up?????

I have a similar setup and don't have the problems you're describing. Generally I'm running sessions with 30-40 chunks and thousands of soundbites. I've found that keeping the soundbites window closed speeds things up drastically. Perhaps you should try removing your plugins from the DAE plugin folder and add them back one at a time. Something definitely isn't right. Your system should be screaming.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep pluggin' away at this a little longer. I'm curious about one thing. When you have so many chunks working inside of one session. You have to turn back on all your automation each time you add a new chunk to a session is that correct??

I'm not sure what you mean by "turn back on all your automation'.
