How To connect 3 Motu 8Pre and a 828MK3 Together.

Hey all

I have 3 of the Motu 8pre USB and single 828 MK3 Usb that want to run into reaper I thought about doing it through either the USB or ADAT, but I would need some guidance I would like to use the 8Pres as Microphone pres or effects because some effects units only have XLR like Summit Audio and DBX etc. and 828 for the 1/4" Stereo jack for the one that have that.

Is there an easy was to go about this or do I need something else?

i am not a Windows guy, but, regardless of your computer OS, you can definitely run two of the 8Pres into your 828 via ADAT. You will need to establish a common clock source; I'd suggest using the 828 as your master clock and ADAT Ins on the 8Pres to receive click.

In macOS, you can run more than one USB connected interface at a time. In Windows?

So in other words I can only use 2 8 Pres with an 828MK3 ok
