I just was listening to some demos of Pianoteq 7's new morphing capabilities. Some of the examples were impressively fresh and unique. Really nice hybrid instruments that weren't "blends" of two layers, but an entirely different instrument sound.
You can assign a CC to control the morphing of the entire instrument, I don't know if you can use velocity to morph between the sounds, though.
This is a very substantial feature for this update.
