MSI on intel works only as stand alone?

Post by bellomich »

Hi
I am very new to this electronic music world. I have an intel iMac and MSI. Once upgraded to 1.1 it works just as stand alone. PACE seems to be recognized (I dont know if directly or through rosetta) but there is NO WAY to use MSI as plug in of neither garageband or Logic express.
Can anybody confirm that or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

That is correct and should be so. Everything is normal.

The reason:
in case of host-plugin relationship (like Logic Express-host, MSI-plugin) BOTH have to run on the same code. You can not start MSI (running on PPC code) inside Logic (running on Intel code). This is not possible even in theory.
