Move multiple Audio Tracks closer together to a section
I have a song that is divided into 3 sections: A, B, and C.
I have about 70 individual tracks spanning across sections A, B, and C
Some of the tracks are grouped as folders. For example, folder "aGTR" has about 10 acoustic guitar tracks under it.
Goal:
I would like to move section B closer to section A
I would like to move section C closer to section B
What's the best way of doing this?
appreciate the help
Philippe

Not entirely clear what you want to do.
If you just want to move where tracks appear vertically go to the tracks overview window, select the tracks you want to move, and use the column with the little arrows, usually near the left side of the window and drag them to the position you want.

Sorry for not being clear.
All the tracks are spread out across sections A, B, and C. I just need to move some tracks from say Section B closer A. I can select individual tracks and nudge toward section A, but was looking for something easier.

You can select a bunch of tracks and use a command called "move tracks to be together", or something like that. You get it by right-clicking on a track in TO window. There are a few more related options, IRC.
I don't know if that's what you want, but it's worth a try.

Another useful command is the snip command. You select some number of measures across all your tracks, and press COMMAND-J which removes both the measures and the space(time) they occupy-- i.e., closes the gap after removal.
Sometimes if I'm removing time, I use this, and then I go through the tracks and manually drag edges to clean up any audio transitions that didn't survive the snip very well.
