gig bag

Post by jammer »

hey peeps,

i'm looking for a gig bag, needs to be able to take a traveler and a 15" laptop and assorted cables, preferably with enough room for a faderfox lv1 as well.

cheers,

as much as it will 'do the job' ... i don't really like the motu bag at all. in fact its a complete design void if you ask me ... horridly plain and incredibly business like ... what were they thinking???

i was thinking more along the lines of something like this:

http://www.ebags.co.uk/airbag/geo/produ ... elid=44658

or this:

http://www.ebags.co.uk/jansport/firewir ... elid=55275

i was wondering if anyone was using something like these bags for gig bags, i also need room for a faderfox LV1 live controller, looms and mics.

Have you looked at the Gator "Studio-2-Go"? Go here: http://www.gatorcases.com/sections/prdc ... oaudio.htm and then click on "Studio Case".

I haven't gotten one yet but plan on trying it out later this year.

Don't mean to be a contrarian.

I understand that you dislike the MOTU bag.

But I picked one up and really like it!!!

15" Powerbook & Traveler. No problemo! All kinds of pockets for all kindsa stuff!

I use this and couldn't be happier. Backpack or over the shoulder. plenty of room, solid and protective.

the MOTU bag might not be PRADA, but it gets the job done
