Hello,
I'm using M5 and I've got a problem.
I have a loop with 2 tacts length at 90bpm. I load it onto Motu on C4. Everything OK right now.
Now if I turn "pitch on" and play C3 for example the pitch is higher, of course, but the loop is shortened and so played faster than 90 bpm.
I'm shure it's only one button I must push but I haven't found it already.

the pitch will be higher, of course, as you say.
if you want the loop to stay the same length, no matter what key you press, press the contant pitch switch to on. (it's towards the bottom somewhere.)

Helllo,
yes, then it has the same lengh, but isn't pitched anymore. It must have the same length and the pitch must be proportional to the keys I play.

Hi,
MachFive has no timestretching integrated. So if you pitch a sound, it will always be slower/faster. There‘s only the possibility to workaround like this.
Drag the sample out into your sequence. Change Tempo and drag it back into M5.
Now you have the same pitch but another length.
If you just wanne pitch it you can use the spectral FX and drag it back into M5.
Now you have a different pitch but same length.
To pitch without changing duration you have to use something like NI INTAKT (special LoopSampler) or Apples GarageBand.
