Working with different sample rates is asking for trouble. My default is 44.1 But sometimes while editing audio from video you meet automaticly 48k. After several system blocks, I choose the Windows 11 settings as the source for these audio settings. Why doesn't Windows 11 see the loopback 9-10. But jumps to USB 1-2. Why is that and is it normal? Any written or video explanations on working with 44.1 & 48k is welcome. Thanks for reading and hopefully answering Best René

Interfaces output Loopback over USB 2. I do not know if it is possible to change that—if so, MOTU Support will have the answer (this forum is a user’s group and is unaffiliated with MOTU). Whatever answer MOTU gives you, please let us know.
As to 44.1k, unless you are mainly involved in CD mastering, it’s not a bad idea to switch to 48kHz/24 bit, the standard for video/AV since the 1990s. Most DAWs including Digital Performer can be set to convert audio files on import automatically.
On the rare occasions that I still master CDs, I convert my mix to 44.1/16. Any DAW can do this on export, my mastering app can do it on import but I use a 3rd party app that takes a few seconds and apply dithering.

Thanks for answering Mike! I will look for the right email address to send the loopback question. My studio corner and pc's are normally 100% focused on producing audio for a mp3/aac+ internet stream. That explains my 44.1 as default. My DAW handles a mix of 44.1 & 48 flawlessly but my stream not.
