I've had Loom fail-- to the point where I reached out to their support, and they did some kind of update that fixed it. Might want to check for updates and see if that helps.

There are beta updates for all of the older Air plugins, they seem stable, and you're more likely to get AU and VST3 support without failed plugins.

You're gonna wanna use Safari on that page, too. Weirdest thing, but if I go there using Brave, the page loads and flashes white and then all I see is a blank white page. I already had the betas, but noticed this happening when I was checking it. Brave is based on Chrome I think, so Chrome users might have this issue also and you'll need to use Safari.

I have several AIR VIs, and several of them fail the scan - all three types: VST, VST3 and AU.
I bought most of them for around $10, which is about what they're worth, given how old they are. Most were designed for low res screens, and their GUIs look pretty tiny at 3 or 4K vertical resolution.
I was told by their support crew that updated scalable GUIs are coming, but that was at least six months ago. The betas are only updated for AS, IINM, with the old tiny GUIs.
When you get accustomed to VIs with advanced browsers that accommodate Favorites and searching, the old style preset browsers really show their age.

In my case anyway it's random but mostly AU works, with one or two of them only working with the VST version.

They told people for years and years that they were going to update the GUI, but I'm betting it doesn't happen, well, at least it only happens for Loom, the rest are far from money makers, and almost 20 years old.
I'm glad to have Hybrid etc. on Apple Silicon, but it's IMO obvious that Air is developing instruments and FX to be compatible not only with Windows, Mac, VST, AAX and AU, but with the MPC hardware. They've so far released around ten synths and FX.

I'm judging preset browsers by one simple thing these days, whether you can browse them with the arrow (or similar) keys on your computer. Give me basic categories and the ability to quickly audition presets. Arturia, U-He, Thorn, and the modern Air plugins all do this.

I agree Arturia and u-he have great preset browsers. Cherry's are pretty good, too.
I think Thorn is an amazing VI, and I like you can use arrow keys to go to the next or previous preset, but they're not searchable don't support favorites. My workaround for no favorites is use the locate-in-Finder feature, add an asterisk before the file name, then return to the VI and refresh the presets. A great thing I love about Thorn's and u-he's presets is that I can share them between computers, and my favorites tagged this way go with the presets. That can't be done with Arturia or Cherry, although several VIs allow a User folder that can be shared easily between computers.
You can also Save As presets into a User folder, and make your own favorites if the VI doesn't have a favorites feature.
You mentioned Hybrid, and that's my favorite AIR VI aside from DB-33 (B3). Loom 2 is pretty cool, too.

I'm in the group that had numerous AIR plugins failed. Even had problems with the Beta Software. The funny thing is, the same plugins would pass in Reaper and Logic.
I've used the beta plugins. Ignored the warnings. Still very unhappy about the current situation and will probably avoid them in the future.
I haz a sad.

If you haven't already, consider reaching out to their support. I got a personal response and fixes that
seemed to come from my request for help.
