Focusrite Liquid Channel: Useful in 2024?

Just wondering about the Focusrite Liquid Channel. There's a used unit for sale near me for $650. Obviously that seems a bit high... I found a YouTube video from 3 years ago where someone had paid $500 for one. I'm wondering if it's potentially a useful unit... worth adding to my studio if I get it cheap?

The companion app, Liquid Control was not updated for Intel and is PowerPC, but if I felt like it, I could run it on the G4 Mac Mini that I use for Unisyn which I screenshare from my Mac Studio. But that's to adjust things without having to reach over to the physical unit. Seems like it can do everything it needs to standalone if needed.

Anyway... I like finding bargains on funky, old gear I think I might be able to get some use out of. Bad idea? Anybody had or have one of these and is it a waste considering technological advancements since then? Also, I already have a very clean pre: Millennia HV-3C and have analog outboard compressors... Warm WA-2A and AudioScape 76F.
