I just checked for this tonight and not sure when it came out because I think I would have seen it before, but there is a new version of MOTU Pro Audio Installer up in the Downloads section of the MOTU site. It's the first one that specifically lists Sonoma as supported.

Bet your bootie I'm doing a Time Machine backup so I have an APFS snapshot before I install this!

So far so good...

I see that the MOTU Audio Installer is unchanged other than Sonoma being added to the supported list.

Yep... what's what I said in my post essentially. Because I am on Sonoma I installed it. All is well here so far.

The MOTU Audio Installer and the MOTU Pro Audio Installer are not the same nor do they support the same interfaces. This has confused people in the past.

Right... I was referring to the MOTU Pro Audio Installer for my 828es. If that doesn't apply to certain user's situations they can ignore my post. And as I mentioned in the post, it lists macOS 14 as supported, which the previous version I had installed did not.
