Can I use a 3DConnexion SpaceMouse Pro to control transport functions (scrolling, zooming) with Digital Performer (PC)?

Before I invest in another tool, I'd like to find out if I can get this 3DConnexion SpaceMouse Pro programmed to control things in Digital Performer for the PC? Darn thing is expensive and it's not being used.
