I'm seriously lusting over one of these right now at Costco:

I'm using my old MacPro4,1 hexcore as an office machine... but seriously thinking about getting one of these, and docking it with external monitor, etc. for home then bringing with me...
PLUS... it seems like it would make an extremely capable machine for using for my live rig that I used for my band. Drummer played with a click and we used DP to not only fly in keyboard parts and rhythm guitar during solos, but also I used it to send MIDI patch changes at just the right time to control my guitar rig—resulting in little to no pedalboard "tap dancing" while I was trying to focus on lead singing and playing guitar. Plus I like the black "Midnight" color which will help blend it into the background on a stage (when it's sideways or facing front).
Just have to figure out if I can migrate a very crucial Bento DB to something that will run on Ventura. I tried TapForms and even had some dialog with the author... it's the most promising. Sadly, NOTHING I've found is as elegant and easy to use and that is what has kept my office Mac on High Sierra now for years.
