24Ao D-Sub breakout cable?

Post by amundsen »

Hello,
Would a breakout cable like this one be appropriate to access the analog outs on the 24Ao?

Thank you in advance.

It sure looks that way to me. At least the 25 pin connector looks like it would fit on the back. Hopefully someone with one of these units will chime in. It makes sense because it's 25 pins on one end and breaks out to 8 TRS male connectors... so figuring 8 x 3 conductors is 24... seems right. I don't know but I imagine there is an industry standard pin wiring for these types of things.

AES59 (or "Tascam") is the standard.

Have a look at this article.
