Valerian and Digital Performer

Post by corbo-billy »

It's an Arturia trailer but we can see that Alexandre Desplat also uses a well known DAW, from 5'00.

The movie apparently is one of the biggest flops this decade (not that I cared much for the graphic novels compared to other European Graphic Novel series and one-shots over the years, in spite of generally loving Eurographics), but it sounds like it might be worth seeing for the soundtrack alone.

Well... that answers the question, "How bad can this be?" Pretty awful, it turns out.

The oldies they used aside, the music is not the worst part of this mess. It is nothing special and certainly not worth the waste of time.

Yes I understand you; It was just to reveal the use of Digital Performer in a feature film Soundtrack .

There was a trending YT vid that was explaining that this was really a film for fans of the comic book series.
