Hi there,
I am using Dp8 on a Mac OS X 10.7 and Max OS X 10.8. The project is set to 24 fps. But when bouncing a Quicktime to disk it creates movies in 23.98 fps. Has anyone an idea why this happens? Thanks for your support!
Best,
hf

Hadn't noticed, but if the original was 24 drop frame I think that is basically the same thing. Are you having performance issues?
Re: DP8 - export to QT changes fps 24 to 23.98
Thanks for your quick reply!
The performance runs smoothly. I had to bounce 32 Quicktimes from 32 different DP sessions. The original QT (that I received) was in 24 fps. The DP session was set in 24 fps. Then I added punshes and streamer. Then exported again. Then the editor received files with 23.98 fps from me. Autsch!
Another problem, that might be related to this:
I opened MIDI files, that were created in the same DP session. When opening these midis as a new session in DP8, they showed a frame rate of 29,97.
Logic Pro 9 showed a frame rate of 29,97d. This is irritating. Why aren't they in 24 fps?

Um... not to be too obvious but did you set the frame rate in DP to 23.98 or is it set to... drum roll... 24?

24 fps. So, this is not a general problem of DP?
