Bounce problem.

Post by raveon »

Newbie here. I have DP 4.6 and tiger 10.4.2. on a G4 desktop 1.25mhz. When i try to bounce anything, track or mix, the only choices are quicktime or Sound designer aiff(mono or left and right stereo files). I thought there were other choices like a straight aiff or mp3. Is this the way it is?

You can bounce one or more tracks at the time.
Just select track(s) and range in a track or sequence window.
If you have automation data in the tracks, they are also included with a bounce.

For MP3 you need to put LAME frameworks inside the framework folder first
Read the manual page 823.

The problem you have may be you need to select the source to your audio interface not the "built in."

Thanks! I installed the lame framework and updated quicktime to 7.01 and that fixed the problem.
