Have there been any problems with DP 4.12 and the latest version of VST Wrapper? (particularly with Sonic Maximizer)?

Any responses? I have searched for previous posts, but I want to make sure there are no problems before I test the demo version of VST Wrapper.

I don't know the answer but I do know that if you email AudioEase (support@audioease.com) you will get a very prompt response.

I have DP 3.1. It works great...except...
when I use Sonic maximizer. I have the Audio Ease VST wrapper. the plug works fine until I save, close and then try to re-open the project.
99% of the time I get max digital noise and lose sync with my 1224. I talked to Motu and Audio Ease. No one had a fix. so now I just can't use the plugin.

What was your porblem?

OH yeah...If I delete the plug and re-save, I don't have the problem anymore.

Is Sonic Maximizer a good investment? I am using Valve Tone '62, and I am planning on getting Microphone Modeler when it is released. I realize that Sonic Maximizer is designed to do different things than these other plugins, but do you think Sonic Maximizer is a good investment? I am also using iZotope Ozone 3 which is great for creating a full overall sound. Unfortunately BBE doesn't have a demo version available of Sonic Maximizer. I am also considering demoing Altiverb 5 when the demo is available. Basically, would I be making an unnecessary purchase by buying AudioEase VST Wrapper so I can then purchase and use Sonic Maximizer?

Andy:

If I were you I'd forget about the Sonic Maximizer and purchase the BlueTubes Bundle. All the plugs in there rock and all have the look/feel of old style analog gear. I use them constantly.
