Ive been holding out on an ipod since my 2g one died (a while ago) but once i saw this i knew it was time to splurge.

These things are AMAZING!!
Mac Pro, 828 MK1x2, Beer....what else?

Still too small - I've got something like 35G of songs. They'll get there, but not yet. Just picked up an 80G classic for the wife.

Depends on what you want/need

16gig flash ram means that it is thin as hell. What an 1/8 of an inch I think?

And Safari and WIFI in the palm of your hand!. That is what is so great about it to me.

And at 16gig it is big enough to carry half your library around at a time.

(I have 60gb library, and a 20 gb 2G ipod -- it can work)

you can easily hack and install all the personal organizer features of the iphone as well, making it one of coolest devices you can buy.

i have upwards of 300 gigs music, but i only listen to maybe 10 gigs of it. so for me, its all i "need" just to have some tunes on the bus ride to and from school, or during my break.
