Two Quickscribe windows at the same time?

Post by iPerformer »

Hi!!!.
Does anybody knows how to get two or more quickscribe windows opened at the same time. ie. Lets say that I have 4 brass MIDI track ( Trumpet, Alt Sax, Tenor Sax and Trombone ) And I want to check each one scores at te same time...How could I do that?. Because everytime that I want to open a different instrument track it just replace the old one with the new one in the same window. Hope you guys understand my very bad english. Thanks a lot.

iPerformer. You have 2 options here.
1) Highlight the tracks you want to view in the Quickscribe window (shift-click to highlight multiple tracks) and then open the window.
2) Highlight 1 track and open the Quckscribe window. At the top of the left hand corner (beside the Solo button "S" on the right) there is a button that is an expand button. This will open the tracks window where you can select other channels to view in the quickscribe window.
Hope this makes sense

I don't think more than one window can be open, but mutiple tracks can be viewed in one window. Highlight the tracks and hit Shift-Q, or click the Expand icon to the right of the solo (S) in the Quickscribe window, and select the tracks from the left column.

sndhse,
Funny, I wrote my post before seeing yours, but didn't post it for a while.

Tim. I think your post is much more succinct than I.
