OK...had to share. I was working on a new DP 4.61 file and got an error message that froze the program. I don't even know what I did other than I was probably working faster than the computer and DP could handle in setting up tracks, etc...It did not crash and quit the program automatically, but it froze DP to where it was unresponsive and I had to force quit.

I consider this to be the best DP error message EVER and I had to share.

BRAVO!! Now, this just takes the cake.

Don't you just love it?

I've had that happen before, but that was with DP 4.0. I still have empty spots in the Tracks Overview and the corresponding location in the MIDI Editor where MIDI info is still being transmitted.

Ever feel this way....?

Hmm... Invisible ink? Subliminal pixel shading? The conspiracy theorist in me is having a field day. We'll be watching you Brian for any adverse effects in the coming weeks.

I've gotten those blank mystery screens before. Clearing the undo history seems to help.

I was hoping it would be taken the right way. Sorry if it offended you, amergin.

Yeah- just drag it onto the desktop. I forget where I found it, but it made me laugh. I stumble upon a number of these around the net.

Dunno-- After a number of experiences akin to bralston's, the anigif felt undeniably familiar, even if exaggerated. We all have our computer woes, don't we?

well, you know what they say. one man's cartoon is another man's justification for riots, embassy bombings and hostage beheadings.

So true-- I should know better by now about the impact of cartoons. Take South Park, for example-- but that's probably way OT for here...

Yep. Hopefully we can all laugh about our computer woes here (if cartoons help us do that). I'm sure James would appreciate that a DP thread not wander off too much further, but you've got the spirit.

I still extend my apologies to amerigin regardless.

I really hate to get this thread so very off topic, but I've tried dragging that animation to my desktop, but I can only view it as individual frames, not as an animation. What must I do?

Nevermind, I was opening with Preview and not Quicktime. My bad.
