I ordered it today and have my SN already. I have been playing with it for hours loads of fun. Sounds good and lots of patches with it that sound nice. I played with all the knobs. Hell for $15 it is a no brainer.

Hmm, my Mail version doesn't have a junk folder; only my webmail does that. Unless you mean "marked as junk", which still shows up in the Inbox but with a different colour (until I mark as "not junk" if appropriate).

At any rate, I received an email today from Audio MIDI with the code, so will try it out tonight... probably without first doing the recent update.

News from AAS for those running 10.6 :-

We've found an issue with all our Audio Unit plug-ins under Mac OS X 10.6.

The plug-in will crash an Audio Unit host if the plug-in window is closed while the focus (the last mouse click) was in the plug-in's browser, e.g.: double-click a preset in the plug-in's browser to load it, close the plug-in window.

Workaround : Remember to click outside the plug-in's browser (e.g.: click on the plug-in interface) before closing the plug-in window.

We are working actively to release an update as soon as possible to fix the issue. Thank you for your help and patience.

Just messing with this some more now. Can someone answer this if you know it: Does this VI not respond to MIDI volume, but require volume adjustments to be made on the actual VI track in DP? I've been trying to change volume on it with MIDI controller and it doesn't respond. I haven't found the obvious answer yet.

James, This synth accepts MIDI Learn for every control. I guess they didn't want to default the volume control to anything, so they left it open for MIDI Learn. So, you RIGHT-CLICK on the Volume knob, then switch to the Mixing Board and make sure the first control you hit is a MIDI Fader on a track that outputs to this synth.

By the way, the path to the bitmap folder where you put the skins is:
/Library/Application Support/Applied Acoustics Systems/Ultra Analog 1/Bitmaps

I tossed out the original bitmaps, since there are replacements included in the download. Then I renamed the background the same as the original background name: phat_backgrounds.png

I don't know if that's necessary. I just did it.
