I've discovered something interesting about this issue. I'm noticing that the problem seems to be display-specific.

I have four displays. While I don't see the tools when the SE is in Display #1, if I drag the SE window over to Display #2 the tools are there. So far, I can always see the tools in the SE on what my system recognizes as Display "(2)", but none of the other 3.

I'm wondering if you also use multiple displays, Arron.

(made with a phone since you can't do a screen cap of two displays)

I only use one display.
Samsung 49" Class Odyssey CRG9 Series DQHD Curved Gaming Monitor
Honestly, I'm not a fan of the display, and I often wonder if some of my graphic issues have to do with it.

Interesting and potentially VERY helpful development, Dix.

FYI and as a data point, I run two displays: An HDMI-connected 75" 4k TV and a Display Port 16:10 24" display connected via a USB-C adaptor. I don't have the cursor issues.

There goes another theory. Our systems seem to have very little in common. All my external displays are identical Lenovos, so I wouldn’t think the problem is brand related.

Yes, me and Aaron seem to be the only users on planet MN with the issue.
