Thanks Leigh, I too had never heard of Wavekit. I had previously targeted Bandcamp as my next platform, but am nervous about its future (as well as Spotify's). These things change faster than I can keep up, as I have a demanding day job and am gigging almost constantly, so I rarely have time to self-market or to adjust to yet another platform change for posting.

This is getting really interesting for me. I actually like that they're an EU company as their privacy rules seem better than ours (I might feel different if I was on the other side of this equation - the tech mogul monetizing everyone's info. Actually, I wouldn't.).

It doesn't seem to be designed as a "social media platform" with followers etc. like SC or BandCamp. That is both a strength and a weakness. But I kind of like the idea of just having my work hosted and available. People can find/contact me via my website.

Appreciate the tip Leigh.

If you try it, Joel, please let us know how it goes.

I plan to take advantage of their free trial, but calendar-based vs. usage-based is always risky for me as so many things come out of nowhere all the time (I am a developer, supervisor and cross-company coordinator), so I will wait until I am confident that I am about to start and finish an updated mix of something I am proud to make publicly available.
