That ain't AI, at least has never been AI for me, but I haven't submitted for a few months.

Did the guy that answered say he was gonna' look into it?

No, and they wont. Meanwhile I've been planning for a new interface. I noticed something funny I guess which is that at least in low price range interfaces only(?) american manufacturers put a power switch on their interfaces, everyone else don't. So I'm thinking about getting Universal Audio Volt 1. I need only one input anyway.

Nothing wrong with the UA Volt 1.

If you don’t need MIDI, the most reasonably priced interface I know that meets your requirements and includes an On/Off switch is the M•Audio Air 192-4. One channel has a Mic/Line CombiJack and the other an Instrument Level 1/4” jack. It also has the USB In/Out balance control, a feature I really like (M4 & M6 have it; M2 and UA Volt 1 don’t). My day-to-Day interface is the 8-channel version of this.
