Link 2 motu MIDI express xt parallel for own a 16×16 MIDI port

I read it is possible to link 2 motu MIDI express xt // in standalone in the goal to own a 16×16 interface in clockwork
It’s walk yoo xith a MIDI time piece AV

But i didn’t know how to did it with my 2 MIDI z press xt //
I use win7 and in the manual they e plain nothing and only a bit more in the mac user manual
It’s look like walk with the rs422 port B
But nothing else is write and for windows there is nothing about this feature
Did it walk in standalone
And i didn’t have a rs422 cable but can i build a mini din 8pin and it will be the same than a rs422????

And i start to really jeed it in my studio , i own around 50 gear and the MIDI chanel capacity is around 256 MIDI chanel.....

My goal is use it in standalone i did music only with hardware i own a old pc only for made the setting in clockworck , use MIDI ox and save my preset

There were three versions of the MIDI Express XT. This is the current one id is still supported:

You have one of the older version built before 2011 that is no longer supported.

The manuals on the download site do not cover your unit. The MTP AV USB, however, still had serial and parallel ports after being updated to USB. I think that reading the MTP AV section of this manual may have the answer you are looking for.

I own the paralel version with the 2 rs422 port A and B , i saw after your post the usb version didn’t own the 2 rs422 port
For the AVTP paralel version the rs422 serie port is supposed the rs422 B port on mine????
I must to link it by this B port my 2 unit , and normally , when i will open clockworck it will be directly the 16×16 interface on my cpu screen????
I still looking for a rs422 cable , i found a mini din 8pin to paralel db 25 , but not yet a mini din 8pin to mini din 8 pin
The mini fin 8pin to db25 don’t walck , but bormally i will have one mini din 8 pin to nimi din 8 pin in couple of day (i hope....)
Some peepole told me a rs422 and a classic mini din 8 pin don’t have the same conection in it , did you know if it’s thru and where i can find the shematic for the right conection ???? (Rs422)
The one i will find it will be a MAC mini din 8 pin , maybee all the MAC mini din 8 pin are made with the rs422 shematic?????
I’m pretty sure it’s possible to did it with my 2 old MIDI express xt // unit with the rs422 unit
But can i use anny version of clockworck,for this????
My cpu is a windows there is no problem to did it with windows 7 ???
Did i must put the second interface in mac user with the switch????
I know i must put the 2 unit in a diferent ID , did i must put one in master and the second unit in slave????

I didn’t have anny monbey and really not rich for bought another unit or interface , like a mtpAV , i really must find the solution for my 2 unit , and i read 2 time on the net , it was possible xith 2 MIDI express xt // version !!!!
