I've played a piano piece into MIDI. The tempo varies greatly, so I played freely and went back to adjust the tempo to MIDI beats. Somehow many of the tempo statement's denominators were changed from a quarter note to a dotted 8th note. Any reason why that might have changed?
Can I "batch change" a range of denominators to be the same?

Re: adjust tempo mess
That's annoying. No idea what causes that.
I wonder if you could use a combination of scale tempo and some kind of macro (a la Keyboard Maestro) to do a little sequence of gestures to reselect the note value.

I don't know of any way to batch change the value but...
There is a way to scroll through the list to make it a little easier.
Click directly on the note in the event list. A row of notes to choose from should be displayed.
Now don't use your mouse. Instead use the left/right arrow keys to get to the desired note value. Use the period key to toggle the dot.
Use the down arrow and it should select the next event in the list and display the row of notes.
Rinse and repeat.
